Unlike many bowls you see, this was not turned on a lathe but rather carved freehand with various rotary tools. I began by cutting the pieces into curved bits approx 3" wide, stacking, fitting, and gluing them together creating a very rough bowl shape. Honestly, it looked more like a stepped pyramid as it sat upside down on the workbench....TBC...
